General Information

Black History Month

As January draws to a close, we’d like to encourage everyone in our chapter, our city, and our region to strongly consider what Black History Month means to you and your community.

To celebrate our month of heritage, struggle, and success as African-Americans, CUABJ will have programming and information released each week for all of February. Those who are on campus or nearby can drop by the J-School each day and see what we have going on.

Celebrate the legacy of African Americans by going to a black history museum or cultural event in your community, donate your time to a worthwhile service project, or help plan an event to bring black history to people around you.
